Driven
Belt
Driven
Also often used for larger fans and high temperatures, this configuration separates the motor from the impeller. The motor is connected via a belt and pulley system driving through a shaft and bearings connected to the impeller. It therefore allows continuous operation of up to 600C. Offering ease of maintenance and motor change. This drive type offers versatile speed selections which can enhance efficiency and offer more fan type options.
DIDW
Driven
A DIDW fan (Double Inlet Double Width centrifugal fan) is a high-capacity air-moving solution designed to deliver large volumes of airflow at medium to low pressure. This configuration features two inlets positioned on both sides of the impeller and a wider wheel, allowing air to enter from both ends simultaneously for increased efficiency and balanced operation. DIDW fans are widely used in HVAC and air handling systems where consistent, high-volume airflow is required. Most often offered in our R type range and in both belt or coupling arrangement.
Inlet
Mounted
Inlet mounted fans utilize a B5 flange mounted motor mitigating the need for a pedestal. The fan is mounted via a reinforced inlet spigot flange. Offering a compact and cost-effective design with ease of installation. They are most commonly used in the dust and filtration industry.

Double
Stage
Double stage fans are engineered for very high-pressure applications where a single-stage unit is not sufficient. The first fan discharges through a short duct section into the inlet of the second fan, effectively increasing the overall pressure output to nearly double that of a standard configuration.
Available in both direct-drive and belt-driven arrangements, these fans are built for strength and durability. Featuring wrap-around stiffeners and reinforced pedestals, the design provides exceptional structural integrity, ensuring reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.
