PSB-UK Limited supplies and installs smoke control systems for new build and refurbishment projects, coordinating closely with main contractors and M&E teams.
As a longstanding member of the Smoke Association, we pride ourselves that our control systems are designed and tested to the highest standards. We are one of the few companies to be accredited by IFC to the voluntary IFC SDI 19 certification scheme specifically designed for the installation, inspection and maintenance of smoke control systems. Giving you peace of mind that your system has been installed correctly. In addition, we also maintain and service systems through our aftermarket company Witt UK Service.
Installation includes:
- All H & S documentation with a fully trained installation in house team
- Smoke extract and supply fans
- Ductwork, dampers, and smoke control shafts
- Smoke control panels and power supplies
- Controls, cabling, and system interfaces
- Installation aligned with approved design and standards
Commissioning & Handover
We carry out full smoke control commissioning to verify system performance and compliance.
Commissioning services include:
- Functional and performance testing
- Airflow and pressure testing
- Fire scenario testing and cause & effect verification
- Witness testing with fire engineers and Building Control
Handover documentation includes:
- Commissioning certificates
- Test and performance results
- As-fitted drawings
- Operation & Maintenance manuals
